Blue Marble Lighting (bluemarblelighting.com) is operated by Monexa LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA ("we", "us"). What we collect

Browsing. Pages viewed, the device and browser type, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you reached the site - collected by Google Analytics 4 (see below) and, for security and delivery of the site, by our host Cloudflare.
Your bag. The items you add are kept in your own browser (local storage) so the bag survives a page reload. They are not sent to us until you go to checkout.
Orders. When checkout is open and you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give it, the items and the amounts. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and never reach us.
Messages. What you write when you email us, and your email address.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

To take, deliver and support your order, handle returns and refunds - performance of our contract with you.
To keep records the law requires (tax and accounting) - legal obligation.
To understand which pages work and fix the ones that do not, with analytics - our legitimate interest in running the site; where your local law requires consent, only with your consent.
To answer your messages - our legitimate interest in replying to you.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not run advertising cookies.

Who receives it

Stripe (payment processing), when checkout is open: the order and payment details you enter on its page.
CJ Dropshipping (order fulfilment and shipping): your name, delivery address, phone number and the items, so the order can be packed and delivered, and the carrier they hand it to.
Google (Google Analytics 4): browsing data as described below.
Cloudflare (hosting, security and email routing).
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside your state or country, including in the United States and, for fulfilment, in China and the warehouse country. Where UK or EU law applies, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland start with analytics switched off and see a banner; analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only if you accept. Elsewhere analytics runs by default. Advertising storage is never enabled. The bag uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 7 years). Emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends. Analytics data: 14 months, Google's retention setting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or other US states, or the EU/UK), you may ask to know, access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising - we do neither. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Send requests to hello@bluemarblelighting.com; we answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm the email address you ordered with.

Children

This store is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new date.
